Day 149 - Friday light
This Friday we had a train trip at the Orient Express, a small restaurant in Bucharest. Who doesn’t love train trips? :)
The decorations had many train details like baggage spaces, drapes, maps, photos of famous cities and dim lights that made a very nice mood. And the best point was that there wasn’t so much cigar smoke, like in most of the pubs and restaurants in Bucharest.
I feel like traveling now ! :)

Day 147 - Open the doors of normality
On Wednesday, I met up with some very beautiful, open minded people from Let’s do it Romania.
They are very determined to promote something that should be very normal and casual: a collective action on a certain day, the 12′ve of May 2012, to be more exact, to gather the trash from different parts of Romania and to keep a record of the trash and waste volume from those certain areas.
Basically they want a cleaner country, a very normal dream, I might say. But it’s not only just a dream, they already reached and accomplished this dream in 2010 and they have been doing a really good job since.

Day 133 - A shot of winter
They said this winter will be a very harsh one.
And it was, a short harsh one with lots of snow. While walking to work through the park and I was looking at the snow covered benches and garbage cans and I remembered how the park was two years ago on February.
It was covered with shy green grass and had a very moody atmosphere due to the fog. You can see the difference and what I was talking about here: Day 179 – A moody Thursday morning .
Day 131 - Sad bike tires
Nothing too dreamy or special today, just some sad bike tires that sit in my room waiting for the snow to melt so they can run freely again on the streets of Bucharest. Until then I have to “enjoy” the horrible public transport which is so crowded and late on many, many occasions.
Day 130 - Trains in my foggy imagination
A bit of a hectic photo for a very relaxing day. I didn’t go out on Sunday, but the very foggy look was more interesting from inside than from the outside. I had a very nice Sunday filled with small details that made my day. I also got to play a fun game that involves lots of trains, thus the light train from the photo, completed by the thick fog from outside.
Day 121 - UFOs in Bucharest
On Friday night I stumbled through some fun places that had quite interesting decor like the super duper UFO lamp. I was with some friends at Curtea Berarilor and we had some good time.
Day 119 - Blushing city in the sunset
Very cold day was today. So I think we deserved ourselves the blink from the mighty sun during the sunset. That blink made even the snow a bit warmer and the city to blush.
