Day 149 - Friday light
This Friday we had a train trip at the Orient Express, a small restaurant in Bucharest. Who doesn’t love train trips? :)
The decorations had many train details like baggage spaces, drapes, maps, photos of famous cities and dim lights that made a very nice mood. And the best point was that there wasn’t so much cigar smoke, like in most of the pubs and restaurants in Bucharest.
I feel like traveling now ! :)

Day 142 - Shy spring
The spring is shy, but the lovely flowers and the subtle sunset light started to speak about her presence.
Day 121 - UFOs in Bucharest
On Friday night I stumbled through some fun places that had quite interesting decor like the super duper UFO lamp. I was with some friends at Curtea Berarilor and we had some good time.
Day 104 - Solidarity
Romania started rallies in Bucharest and lots of other cities two weeks ago and hasn’t stop since. I went last night with a friend at University Square, to be there, to protest with the people against this awful situation and to get in touch with what was really happening.
Day 103 - Happy birthday, dear Grandma!
Today was my grandma’s birthday! This evening I found her in her room reading a book, that was a present from my mom and dad. She was happy, she liked the book. I wished her Happy birthday and told her to accept it and not to start saying back best wishes for me, as she usually does. She smiled, kissed me and complied. Then I asked her if I could make a photo of her, as a small present. I was so happy to get a happy smile from her.
Day 97 - French shadows
Let go of your worries and dream a little dream of Paris!
This is a beautiful creation made out of wood and matches, that I was really impressed by, when I first saw it. I think it had to take some patience and time to do it and the result is beautiful.
Day 97 - Happy Birthday minicake
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to youuuu, happy birthday dear Silviuuuu, happy birthday to youuuuuuuuu!
I wish him all the best, all the happiness in the world and all his wishes and dreams to come true. Why? Because he is a very dear person in my life that makes me smile all the time, that I love, that I admire his determination for following his dream and ideas.
He deserves all the good things to happen to him and that includes a small lemon pie cake for his birthday, served in the middle of the mall. I hope he wished for nice things when he blew the candle.

Day 71 - Party time
Christmas Party, yeaaaah! After a slow chill out start at the office, the party continued at a club with drinks and boogie time. Fun!

Day 68 - Urban fireflyes
Small parts of my city, Bucharest, are so different at night from day. This place seems very dull and uninteresting by day, but when if you add rain magic and lights, at night, this place becomes alive. Each of the stones and line seems to light up and tell me stories about the people that walked on them that day.
So the next time when rains catches you in the city, don’t just run and hurry to go home or to hide from it, have a look around and really notice the city.
