Day 156 - Retro Friday
I got a few free hours from work so I had some spare time of laziness on a retro Friday evening. Sometimes “wasting time” with the right person is just perfect.
Day 125 - Peace
On Tuesday I got a very nice and surprising invitation to attend a portraiture photography workshop at F64 store from very nice person, called Fata din Port.
So I thought it would be fun to take a portrait shot for today. My work colleague Irina helped me with that, by posing for a few seconds in the beautiful sunset light. And because the light was so peaceful and also because on that day we were talking about the meanings of certain names, I named the photo “Peace” because that’s what the name “Irina” means .
Thank you Irina :)
I hope that the workshop will be interesting, I can’t wait for it.

Day 120 - Supergirl beaming lights
I had a lovely evening with my sister. We went shopping for some things that I needed and she was the one that could help me out.
So after a few hours spent inside stores I managed to take this shot of my sister. It was quite a difficult thing to do because she was constantly moving. But that’s how my sister is, in every moment she’s doing something for her, for someone else, she’s solving problems and organizing things.
She’s a very dear person to me and I hope we will always help each other out.
Day 99 - Cristina and the pidgins
Meet Cristina!
She was sitting on Vasile Lascar street feeding the pidgins in the morning. I stopped and asked her if I can make a photo of her. She said yes and if I could help her with some money, because she has a 5 years old daughter with Down syndrome in a hospital. I offered her some money and took her photo while she was feeding the pidgins. After talking about her daughter I asked her why is she giving a whole bread to the birds when she has a difficult situation. She said she likes it and that she always buys an extra bread for them. When I left she thanked me because I was the first female photographer to ask to take her photo, other people had asked her I guess.
And then she asked me if I could give her more money because she said it was her daughter’s birthday and wanted to make a small party for them with sodas and candies. I didn’t knew if I should believe her or not. Anyway I didn’t gave her money again, because I didn’t have more.
This thing made me a bit sad, because I thought about how people tend to get greedy sometimes and when one gives a finger, they always want the whole hand.
BUT on another hand, maybe if one would be in her shoes, survival would be everything. So I don’t think it’s a good thing for someone to judge a person in a minute, because circumstances are different all the time and they matter.
Day 62 - Happy Birthday, Cami!
Meet Camelia, a beautiful and fun birthday girl that has wonderful things happening in her life and I wish her all the best. She’s quite a lady and I thing she deserves them. Happy birthday!

Day - Red moon or Rudolph’s nose?
Last night the full moon became red within the lunar eclipse … or was is Rudolph’s nose shining in the sky? Maybe Santa was making some sleigh ride testing because Christmas is almost here.

Day 57 - Dr. Andreea
I had a lovely evening with a dear friend from high school, that I hadn’t seen for quite a while. The beautiful lady from the picture is Andreea and although I have no merit, I am so proud of her because she is now officially an endocrinologist doctor. She has struggled and she reached her goal, that now opens bigger goals which I’m sure she will reach also.
We had a very nice dinner at a place called “Bistro Latina” with beautiful decorations that seem to be from a doll house, very cozy and friendly. The light was very dim so I am sorry for the noisy image, but the mood was great.
I am happy that I’ll have this dear memory within my project.

Day 47 - A moment of love
This morning I caught my dear friend Andreea and her lovely dog Yuki in a moment of pure love.
Because on the 30th of November it will be St Andrew’s day, this photo is for her.

Day 45 - Family time
From today I’ll remember a beautiful autumn evening in the park, along some warm tea and sandwiches. After the nice picnic, through a stroll beneath the yellow trees, I found my subject for today: a beautiful family taking a walk.

Day 43 - Eye to eye
A lovely evening, I had today. After work, I had a very nice talk over a coffee with my friend Ana. It’s nice to keep in touch.
At the end of our chat I asked if I could take a picture of her and she chose the fishy fishy lens, great choice :) . The result: hilarious.
Thank you Ana.
